Just got back from fantastic trip to Tallinn with a group of friends. Had a wonderful time wandering around the Old Town looking at some really nice buildings and stopping off for the odd glass of wine now and then.
Here are some of the sights, lovely old buildings first…
- Alexander Nevsky Cathedral
The Estonian Parliament
These buildings face each other across a square, surrounded by medieval towers of the old castle, gardens and viewing areas.
Kieck in de Kok. Name made me laugh so much, how childish! Means 'Peep in the kitchen' apparently, due to its hight.
I spotted an obsession with pigs…

The Old town of Tallinn is awesome. From Helsinki, Finland it is at the distance of 1½ hour by speed ferry.
